Injection Moulding Engineer - County Waterford

Position Summary:
Assist in developing and implementing production/processing methods to meet quality standards efficiently for new and existing moulding processes. Monitor the moulding process, troubleshoot issues, and resolve quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Introduce new tools, conduct tool trials, and oversee tool setup, qualification, and handover to production.
* Assist with designing and debugging new systems, tooling, and automation.
* Complete IQ, OQ, PQ validation reports.
* Conduct experiments to improve processes, yields, and efficiency.
* Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and toolmakers.
* Manage moulding process systems, including setting sheets and process controls.
* Troubleshoot and support team leaders.
* Collaborate with toolroom, maintenance, production, and quality departments.
* Develop and implement maintenance programs for moulding equipment.
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and support safety and quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
* Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical leadership.
* Lean Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
* Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
* Degree in Polymer or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume moulding environment.
* Experience with cleanroom procedures.
* Knowledge of process setup and validation, including process window studies, IQ, OQ, PQ is highly desirable.
