Job Description
As part of the expansion of its activities, Sia is hiring a GenAI Consultant for its New York office. Reporting to the AI & Data Business Unit, you will design and implement cutting‑edge GenAI/LLM solutions across various industries. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Platform Engineers to deliver tangible business value through AI. You will guide clients toward the best approaches—such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, or fine‑tuning—for optimized and cost‑effective impact. Beyond prompt creation, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable products. You will be involved throughout the entire AI lifecycle, ensuring seamless model integration optimized for performance and security, while addressing infrastructure challenges. Your role includes research, design, implementation, and optimization of AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement cutting‑edge GenAI/LLM solutions across various industries.
* Bridge the gap between Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Platform Engineers.
* Guide clients toward best approaches such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, or fine‑tuning.
* Design and develop robust, scalable products throughout the entire AI lifecycle.
* Ensure seamless model integration optimized for performance and security while addressing infrastructure challenges.
* Research, design, implement, and optimize AI systems.
Technical Skills
* Model stack (FM, VLM, SLM): leveraging open or proprietary foundational models such as GPT‑x, Claude, or Gemini, as well as lightweight models deployable at the edge like Mistral or Arcee AI, to deliver cost‑effective solutions to business users.
* The GenAI application framework ecosystem, including chaining, retrieval‑augmented generation, autonomous agents, and vector search tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, pgvector).
Qualifications
* 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong proficiency in Python and generative AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
* Knowledge of natural language processing and understanding (NLP/NLU).
* Expertise in embedding vectorization and semantic search techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Strong problem‑solving abilities.
