Manager, Agile Sourcing - Global Products, Development & Supply (GPS)

Position posted in Dublin, Ireland. The role is part of the Agile Sourcing team within GPS and focuses on source-to-contract operations across GPS categories such as External Manufacturing, Logistics, Product Development and/or Direct Materials. The Manager will work with matrixed resources to ensure effective sourcing, negotiating, contracting and purchasing activities to optimize buying power and support company goals. This role reports to the Associate Director, GPS Agile Sourcing.


Key Responsibilities

* Participate on a team of professionals in support of source-to-contract operations across the enabling services categories.
* Assist with professional development planning and enable flexibility across the Agile Sourcing organization to foster cross-functional proficiencies of resources and procurement categories.
* Contribute to end-to-end sourcing and contracting processes in support of operations across enabling services categories.
* Act as an expert facilitator to manage and lead complex sourcing events from end-to-end (RFI/RFP), prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations and proposals; evaluate offerings; assess supplier product and pricing information; conduct negotiations; communicate decisions externally.
* Manage the contract lifecycle from understanding deal complexities to drafting, negotiating, redlining, finalization, distribution and storage.
* Coordinate with business stakeholders, procurement partners and SMEs (e.g., legal, Cybersecurity, IT, Data Privacy, Quality) to incorporate feedback for timely and compliant contracting.
* Maintain awareness of pre-contracting steps and relevant BMS policies and procedures.
* Engage in Performance Management & Continuous Improvement for Source to Contract, sharing best practices and driving improvements in contracting processes and templates where appropriate.


Qualifications & Experience

* B.S./B.A. with a Science or Technical Focus, preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in enabling services category procurement, sourcing and contracting, including familiarity with Master Services Agreements (MSAs), SaaS Agreements and Software License Agreements.


Expertise & Competencies

* Procurement process, agreement management, financial and market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity and management, and strategic planning across the supply chain.
* Contract construction and negotiation experience, preferably with buy-side contracts in the pharma/biotech industry.
* Excellent oral and written communication, customer-focused, and able to influence colleagues; adaptable in ambiguous, complex environments; able to lead cross-functional teams to sustain high performance.
* Strong project management skills; proven ability to lead projects and problem-solving initiatives with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management technology (e.g., Icertis) to automate and streamline processes.
