Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacist – Must Be Registered with PSI & Living Nearby to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves working every Saturday plus two weekdays (approx. 20 hours per week), with flexibility to cover additional hours during staff holidays or sick leave.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense and check prescriptions in accordance with PSI regulations.
* Oversee and verify medication trays for nursing homes.
* Provide expert advice and counselling to patients and carers.
* Support front-of-shop operations when required.
* Ensure compliance with pharmacy and healthcare standards.
* Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a supportive work environment.
Requirements
* Mandatory:
* Already registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
* Must live nearby to ensure reliability and punctuality.
* English language proficiency at C1 level.
* Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
Working Conditions
* No Sundays or evening shifts.
* Fixed schedule: every Saturday + 2 weekdays (approx. 20 hours/week).
* Flexibility required to cover extra hours in case of colleagues' holidays or illness.
