The Care Support Specialist plays a vital role in providing daily care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
* Assist with activities of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
* Develop social interaction skills through group activities and one-on-one interactions.
* Maintain confidentiality at all times while upholding organizational policies and procedures related to data privacy.
To be successful in this position, you will need excellent communication skills, a patient attitude, and the ability to work independently. You should also have basic knowledge of first aid principles and experience working with vulnerable populations.
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare or related field preferred;
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is not mandatory but would be beneficial for long-term career growth;
