As we continue to scale, we're seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to enhance operational performance, streamline internal processes, and uphold the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and service across the business.
Role Overview
As Sales Operations Manager, you'll be the strategic and operational backbone of the sales team. You'll own the processes, data, and tools that drive performance — ensuring that every new lead is followed up promptly and conversion rates are continually improving.
Your key focus will be reducing the time to first call on new leads and increasing the conversion rate from new leads to deals won, through data-driven insights, process optimisation, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
* Oversee and continuously optimise sales operations to improve efficiency, scalability, and commercial performance.
* Identify process gaps and implement sustainable, data-driven improvements.
* Partner with data, product, and technology teams to deliver workflow automation and process enhancements.
* Oversee and improve quality assurance frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high service standards across sales teams.
Lead Management & Funnel Performance
* Develop and refine lead routing, scoring, and assignment logic to maximise speed and quality of engagement.
* Monitor and enforce internal SLAs to ensure timely follow-up and strong lead hygiene.
* Analyse the full conversion funnel—from inbound lead to deal won—to identify bottlenecks and implement targeted improvement initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making
* Track, analyse, and communicate key sales and operational KPIs.
* Translate data insights into actionable strategies that improve performance and support leadership decision-making.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* 3+ years' experience in sales operations or business operations, ideally within fintech, financial services, SaaS, or another high-growth environment.
* 3+ years hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, including reporting, workflow management, and automation.
* Proven track record in improving internal KPIs, SLAs and maintaining strong quality assurance processes.
* Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
Desirable:
* Experience in SME lending, funding operations, or financial process management.
* Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
