Community Support Worker – (Support At Home - Overnight Service) - Furness
Hourly Rate: £ £18.53
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to between £ £18.53. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.
Location: Furness Area – to be discussed with the successful candidates
Available Hours: We have opportunities available between 18-27 hours per week. The shifts run between the hours of 9:30pm and 7:30am

Our Support at Home Service provides short term support for adults with wide ranging needs, enabling them to live as independently as possible, whilst also ensuring their safety and well-being. We are committed to working with them to achieve person centred outcomes, helping them to remain in their own homes within their local communities.
As a support worker, you will follow a support plan which has been created through discussion with the person, ensuring that they have choice and are always treated with dignity and respect. You will provide personal, social, and emotional support to adults in the local community in a caring and compassionate way. You will work with that person to support them to maintain their quality of life.

Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to respond to Service Users who will not always be accessible via public transport.
