Job Overview:
As a strategic leader, you will oversee the payroll project lifecycle, setting benchmarks for assignments and applications. Your responsibilities include delivering defined work packages to clients, providing effective management to teams, and guiding key business users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop strategies and direct teams with diverse scope on payroll programmes and projects.
2. Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets.
3. Utilize project planning tools and participate in identifying and planning future resource needs.
4. Design and implement test plans, applying, articulating, and constructing business-specific end-to-end scenarios.
5. Specify the test environment for whole life-cycle testing and ensure it reflects business requirements for execution.
6. Consult with key business stakeholders to optimize application design for testability.
7. Allocate and coordinate test schedules, work, and resource plans, managing progress against the plan.
8. Provide quality assurance evaluation estimates on various projects, including executing vision, goals, and direction of a team/teams.
9. Diagnose problems, probe underlying issues, and generate multiple potential solutions.
10. Anticipate and prevent problems, facilitate buy-in, and guide implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions for complex issues.
11. Create quality assurance procedures and user instructions to ensure reusable processes and tools approaches.
12. Define and implement quality process improvements and metrics focused on defect prevention.
13. Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects or release levels.
14. Contribute to proof-of-concept exercises and assist sales with pre-sales collateral.
