We are a leading textile manufacturer based in Ireland, dedicated to producing high-quality woven products for both domestic and international markets. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Weaving Operative to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate weaving looms and related machinery in line with company standards.
* Ensure consistent production of high-quality woven materials.
* Monitor production output and quality, identifying and reporting any faults or inconsistencies.
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Essential Requirements
* Proficiency in English (speaking).
* Own transport as no public transport is available to the site.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Punctuality and reliability, consistently arriving on time and maintaining good attendance is a must. This role is 38 hours per week.
* Ability to take instruction and follow established procedures accurately.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Self-motivation with a positive and proactive approach to work.
* Previous experience in a weaving, textile, or manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
