Overview
Join a rapidly growing software company for a newly created Finance Manager role.
This role will manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams while also driving strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and operational excellence as the company continues to expand.
Previous management accounts and commercial experience essential.
Salary circa €90,000, 20% bonus plus benefits and a two days in-office hybrid policy.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant operations.
Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
Deliver high-impact financial insights and reporting to senior leadership, utilizing Power BI for advanced data visualization and performance tracking.
Analyse revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability to identify trends and recommend strategic actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Technology) to support business cases, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across finance operations, including integration of Power BI and optimization of workflows.
Manage and enhance financial operations - including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
Support audit readiness, compliance, and risk management activities.
Ensure financial data integrity and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years' progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in
Power BI
(DAX, Power Query),
MS Excel
, and financial modelling.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with a track record of managing finance operations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Familiarity with SaaS/software revenue recognition principles is an advantage.
