Our client is a high profile specialist supplier to the construction sector. Based from their head office in Dublin, they have a significant presence across Ireland and have supported on a range of major high profile construction projects. They are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage the day to day finance operations and support the CFO across all areas of an evolving finance function.Reporting to the CFO, the role will involve:Develop and implement key strategic financial management for the businessManaging preparation of financial reporting & analysisManage annual audit and year end completionCo-ordinate annual budget & forecasts that align with key strategic objectivesCash Flow & Treasury ManagementOwnership for all aspects of Internal Controls, Regulatory Compliance and Balance Sheet reviewsIdentify opportunities for continuous development & improvement of financial systemsEnsure compliance with all taxation and statutory obligations.Lead and development of finance teamPrepare business cases to support strategic and investment decisionsCorporate Governance - Advise the CEO and Board on financial matters, providing regular performance updatesStakeholder Management - Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.Business Performance ImprovementCandidate RequirementsQualified Accountant with a number of years post qualification experience within similar size engineering, manufacturing or construction organisationWill consider a practice candidate making their 1st move to industryTrack record of “adding value” and result delivery to tight deadlinesThe must have excellent technical accounting experience and be comfortable inter-acting at senior leadership team level.Remuneration PackageThe successful candidate can expect to receive a competitive salary and benefits package which will reflect the importance of the role to the organisation.Interested in this position?In the first instance send CV to
