Customs Clearance Clerk Our client, a global leader in logistics, is seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk to support the smooth movement of freight through Irish customs.

The role You will oversee customs clearance documentation for a varied customer base, acting as a key point of contact with customs authorities on a daily basis.
Advising customers on customs regulations at origin and destination is central, as is ensuring Duty and VAT are processed correctly and on time.
Key responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end customs clearance documentation Liaise daily with Irish customs authorities Provide a high standard of customer service, resolving queries efficiently Act as the internal specialist on customs compliance matters Support the review and improvement of policies, procedures and controls Ensure regulatory requirements are met across all customers and business activity Identify risks, improvement opportunities and system solutions Manage assigned key accounts, ensuring service expectations are met Maintain and update standard operating procedures and audit records Carry out daily and weekly compliance audits Stay informed on changes to customs legislation and implement updates Support training and onboarding of new team members, sharing regulatory updates with colleagues Assist sales and account teams with compliant, cost-effective solutions Experience and skills 1-2 years' experience within the customs industry Strong working knowledge of Irish customs procedures and systems Confident communicator with effective interpersonal skills Comfortable dealing with customers and internal teams at all levels Proficient in Word, Excel, email and general PC-based systems Skills: Warehouse Team lead Forklift Team Lead experience
