Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the adherence to quality standards and regulations, including HTM and SFG20 on an ongoing basis and ensure our systems are equipped to track and deliver projects and maintenance in line with relevant standards. You will be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of quality control procedures, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient M&E systems for the healthcare facility. You will monitor and inspect the delivery of mechanical and electrical installations and ongoing maintenance, conduct rigorous testing, and maintain meticulous records of quality metrics to assess and improve project performance and ensure delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits comply with HTM and SFG20 standards. Additionally, you will actively participate in resolving any quality-related issues that may arise, employing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful completion of each project to the highest standards.Skills and RequirementsWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer with a strong background in construction and/or maintenance services with a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in quality control and assurance within the construction or maintenance industries. Knowledge of Irish/UK construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices is essential for this role.You should be well-versed in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to facilitate effective quality management processes.The successful candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail and demonstrate proficiency in conducting comprehensive inspections and tests of mechanical and electrical installations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical, as you will be collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, subcontractors, and clients.Moreover, a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently are highly valued traits.
