We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities of the Role:Coordinating and Planning of resources including labour, materials and sub-contractorsManage and drive a team to meet with all project requirements and deadlinesEnsure the adherence to safety and quality standardsPrepare relevant reports for Project TeamEnsure the adherence to safety and quality standardsReporting on progress to Project Management TeamEstablish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being metLiaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship to ensure future project opportunities.Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriateLiaise with the client on KPI development and implementation.Champion Mercury’s Safety implementation on site and at site Safety Leadership TeaChampion Mercury’s Quality focus on site and implement ‘Right First Time’ measures.Track and report at weekly client update meetings.Liaise with the Commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies.Management of Mercury team on site and coordination of Internal resources regarding travel etcCreation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.Ensure processing of requisitions, generation of purchase orders and delivery to site is done in a timely manner.Develop a constructible and detailed schedule with the project planner.Must have a detailed knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, Generators, Busbar systems and PDU’s.To understand the nature of working in a live environment and appreciate the importance of maintaining all client’s system during construction phases.Liaise with the client regarding the permitting of all works within the live environment and participate in the development of RAMS and relevant client permits.A strong understanding of the COHE policies and to liaise with various vendors and subcontractors in relation to LOTO of their equipment.All other duties associated with this roleEssential Criteria for the Role:A tradeand/or relevant third qualification5-10yearspreviousexperience in Project ManagementProven record of co-ordinating and managing largeinstallationprojectsExperience dealing with IR issuesKnowledge Health & SafetyExperience in design and buildGood Technical Knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systemsAbility to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environmentAbility to drive a large-scale projectMercury is an equal opportunities employer.
