Reporting to the Team Leader, the CNC PRESSBRAKE Operator is responsible for working as part of the production team operating the press brake and guillotine, including the following tasks:
· Meeting production plans as per weekly targets
· Review job file for doors & metalwork, as per Team Leader guidance
· Sequence work to the press brake in conjunction with plasma operator
· Co-ordinate jobs with Fabrication Operative, where required
· Ensuring correct tooling is used on all jobs in a safe and efficient manner as per operations procedures
· Liaising with Team Leader for tool maintenance
· Work as back up operator for other CNC machines,
· Any ADHOC roles requested to ensure the smooth running of the business
· Perform all necessary quality checks during production and follow procedures when defective parts are discovered
· Troubleshoot program
· Prepare all products before fabrication/delivery
· Tablet Use & Drawing Interpretation: Operator should be comfortable using tablets to access work instructions and technical drawings.
· Quality Checks: Regular inspection of parts to ensure they meet specifications.
· Safety Awareness: Follow safety procedures and report any hazards.
· Flexibility: Willingness to support other areas like laser cutting or turret punching.
· CNC & Computer Skills: Basic understanding of CNC programming and data entry.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to handle repetitive tasks and lift materials.

Preferred Skills & competencies & expertise
CNC PRESSBRAKE experience is a must,
Background in engineering and/or production environment. Accredited craft training/qualification. Excellent technical and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Promote high standards of quality and health and Safety. Customer focus. Knowledge & mindset of lean manufacturing. Ability to read drawings. Good computer skills e.g. Excel/Word. Cost awareness and time management.

Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour
