Relief Shop Manager – Dublin, Wicklow & Kildare (Casual Relief)
Location: Dublin, Wicklow & Kildare
Salary: €19.26 per hour, paid monthly

The Role
We seek a Relief Shop Manager to provide casual coverage across the East Region (Dublin, Wicklow & Kildare). The role reports to the Regional Retail Manager and supports local shop managers during absences, maximising sales, productivity, revenue opportunities, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with SVP retail standards, legislation, and policies.
Responsibilities
Cover the operations of individual shop locations during the local manager’s absence.
Maximise sales and productivity across the network.
Ensure compliance with retail standards, legislation, and SVP policies.
Support and collaborate with volunteer team members and scheme workers.
Provide and analyse sales reports.
Organise and manage events as required.
Qualifications
Leaving Certificate minimum.
Third-level education in a business-related field or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing retail environment.
Experience managing or working with a diverse team.
Proven track record in meeting sales targets.
Experience working independently and as part of a team.
Experience in providing and analysing sales reports.
Experience in community or voluntary sector.
Track record as a successful retail manager with strong standards and customer service delivery.
Experience managing and organising events.
Knowledge
Commercial awareness.
Understanding of SVP mission and values.
Awareness of needs and issues facing disadvantaged individuals.
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building across functions.
Strong organisational abilities.
Proficiency in IT tools (Excel, Word, EPOS, Microsoft 365).
