Overview
This position will suit a technically strong and organised professional who can take ownership of site delivery, manage precast and concrete works, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance on site.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations, managing engineers, subcontractors, and crews.
Coordinate the installation of precast concrete and associated civil works in line with design drawings and specifications.
Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety compliance at all times.
Manage site documentation, QA/QC records, and progress reporting.
Liaise closely with design and project management teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Conduct setting out, surveys, and quality inspections as required.
Ensure works are completed efficiently, safely, and to programme.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years\' experience in a similar role within civils, structural, or precast construction.
Strong technical knowledge of concrete and structural systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound site-based decisions.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and using setting-out equipment.
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel within the Cork region.
