Our current markets include Ireland and Northern Ireland.We are a small and growing team, currently 13 employed in our Dundalk office, with our headquarters based in Bulgaria.As a growing company, we are looking to expand our Accounts Team, seeking an Accounts Technician. Initially part-time, over 5 days, with the potential of leading to full time employment.The successful candidate will report to the company Accountant and be responsible for assisting and maintaining various aspects of our accounts for the company.The position is initially part-time, 5 hrs per day over 5 days. (Hybrid working model can be discussed after probation period)The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Irish accounting environment with an excellent work ethic.Attention to detail is essential, with the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities / Duties of the RoleManage Creditors Ledgers, and reconcile monthlyOversee, and assist the Debtors Ledgers, dailyAssist with Posting month end journalsAssist with monthly reporting accountsAssist with Sales Variance Analysis of Actuals against Budget and ForecastAssist in year-end AuditUndertake any other accounting administrative assignments and duties as may be reasonably required by the company accountantDevelop and maintain detailed excel account files.Provide Administrative support, to other departments when required.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceRelevant financial Qualification or Studying for a relevant qualification. (IATI: Accounting Technician)Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role/environment (Ireland-specific accounts experience a must.)Advance knowledge and experience of using MS .. Excel / Word essentialExperience in accounts software. Intact / Sap, preferable, but not essentialDemonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, a methodical and logical approach to workWorks at a pace that matches the requirements of the company and has demonstrable experience with meeting deadlinesExperience in working across different departments to achieve and maintain resultsExcellent telephone manner ,must be comfortable dealing with customers, when required.Experience working in credit control is desired, but not essential, full training will be provided.Salary: 24,000 per year (part time; 25 hours per week), negotiable depending on experienceBenefits: Company Pension after 12 months, % towards Leisure Facility, additional annual leave day allocated to your Birthday.Hours: 5 hrs per day, 5 days per week - Hybrid working model can be discussed after probation periodNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
