About the roleAs a Business Change Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the change agenda for Very Ireland.
Partnering closely with Irish business functional leads, you will identify and translate customer and business needs into a clear and actionable change project roadmap.
Through strong programme management governance, you will support the
successful and controlled delivery of this roadmap.
Acting as a key advocate for Very Ireland within The Very Group, you will ensure the Irish business is represented in Group-wide initiatives, enabling it to quickly adopt and benefit from enhancements to the brand and customer proposition.
In this central coordination role, you will collaborate with Group change teams and local functional leads to design, develop, and implement change projects that drive business success.
Additionally, you will oversee the resolution of any service-related issues, ensuring seamless operations and a focus on delivering value to our customers.
Scope of RoleThe Business Change Analyst will tackle a broad range of responsibilities, leveraging the most appropriate tools and techniques to deliver impactful customer and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the management and maintenance of the Very.ie programme backlog.Leading change readiness activities to ensure smooth transitions.Providing support through all phases of change management.Assisting in the creation of business cases and tracking benefit realisation.Managing tickets and maintaining accurate and timely reporting.Establishing and facilitating regular change forums to drive alignment and progress.Developing and implementing progress/status reporting across Very Ireland.Defining and producing reporting structures to support decision-making.Identifying and evaluating growth opportunities to drive business success.Assisting with risk management and reporting to mitigate potential challenges.Maintaining the overall programme plan to ensure alignment and delivery.Preparing and distributing presentations and key updates to stakeholders.Defining project scope and ensuring clarity of objectives.Conducting investigation, analysis, and review to clearly articulate processes and requirements.The role requires building credible and trusted relationships with stakeholders across Very Ireland and the UK, as well as collaborating with third-party partners as needed.
Key Responsibilities Works with business stakeholders to identify and understand opportunities for growth, problem resolution or recommended improvements to processes, systems, and organisation design.Elicits business requirements using the most appropriate techniques.Defect/Issue reporting point of contact for Very Ireland.Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.Elicit, document, and prioritise requirements.Use techniques such as workshops, interviews, process mapping, and data analysis to gather insights.Process Improvement: ·
Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.Recommend changes to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance customer experience.Identify and implement opportunities to streamline effective change governance frameworksStakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.Use RACI matrix (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) to clarify roles and responsibilities.Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.Testing & Validation:
Support the development and testing phases.Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyse data to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.Create reports, dashboards, or visualisations to communicate findings effectively.Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, resolve challenges, and recommend improvements to processes, systems, and organisational design.Elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements using techniques such as workshops, interviews, process mapping, and data analysis.Act as the primary point of contact for defect and issue reporting for Very Ireland.Process Improvement & Change Governance:

You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position:
1st stage - A 30- minute MS Teams call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience and competency-based questions.
2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions.
