Quality Finance Support Specialist - Shanbally, Ringaskiddy, Cork (Hybrid)

The Quality Finance Support Specialist will manage the financial aspects of the Quality teams, including raising POs on Ariba, receipting, and tracking monthly spend against the budget.
This position is pivotal in managing the financial planning aspects across multiple cost centres within the Quality teams, ensuring that all financial activities are aligned with the budget and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) on Ariba, receipt, and track monthly spend against the budget.
• Conduct regular check-ins on spend and receipting – align the works completed against the receipting.
• Forecast financial needs/changes within the year along with justification for and any changes, track these changes and compile data for future years.
• Support month end reporting for actuals vs forecasted.
• Build in new works and projects into financial planning.
Operational Support:
• Implement and maintain financial processes within the Quality teams.
• Manage headcount tracking for personnel against AOP and LRP targets.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
Documentation and Compliance:
• Author and review financial documents, including standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports.
• Financial reports providing analysis and insights into spending, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
• Scopes of Work for External Vendors: Define tasks, deliverables, and expectations for external vendors, such as SOP-118304 Sourcing a Vendor, which describes the process for selecting a vendor
Education and Experience Required:
• Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Science or a related technical discipline with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial management.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Ariba.
