Overview
A well-known Irish insurance company is looking for an experienced Injury Claims Handler to join their team. Open to relocation to Dublin or commuting to the office two days a week.

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid working) - 2 days on site
Reporting
Reporting to the Claims Manager
Day to day
* Manage a portfolio of Motor, Employer, and Public Liability injury and damage claims.
* Handle claims through direct settlement, PIAB, pre-litigation, and litigation stages.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring empathy, clarity, and efficiency in every interaction.
* Make early and accurate decisions on liability, indemnity, quantum, and settlement strategy.
* Collaborate with solicitors, legal teams, and external service providers when needed.
* Identify and follow up on fraud and recovery opportunities.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
Profile
* APA qualification in both Personal and Commercial Insurance is essential.
* Experience in handling injury or liability claims.
* Strong technical understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes.
* Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
