Contract Management Officer – Belfast, L/Derry, Omagh or Craigavon – NI Water
Join NI Water as a Contract Management Officer and play a key role within the Commercial Team, supporting the management of high-value contracts across the organisation. About the role:
£32,166 per annum
Monday to Friday
Locations include Westland House, Omagh, Gelvin Grange, or Seagoe
Hybrid working is available following the initial 3-month training and onboarding period,
Annual leave entitlement is 25 days per year, in addition to 12 public holidays.

What you'll be doing in this role:
Support Contract Managers in the development, implementation and ongoing management of contracts
Monitor contract performance, compliance and spend to ensure value for money is delivered
Assist in the preparation of contract reports covering performance, financials and compliance
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure effective service delivery
Provide guidance on contract requirements and communicate complex information clearly across teams
Review and validate contractor invoices and quotations
Analyse contract spend and recommend corrective actions where required
Carry out quality assurance audits including health & safety, environmental and quality checks
Support procurement activities and new contract mobilisation
What you'll need for this role:
A third-level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 1 year’s relevant experience OR A time-served Electrician/Fitter with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
Experience working with external contractors in an industrial or commercial environment
Understanding of contract management, including KPIs, compliance and financial monitoring
Knowledge of maintenance programmes, facilities, or asset-based environments
Experience analysing data and producing reports
Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Health & Safety, LOLER, PUWER)
Full driving licence or access to transport
