Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers, maintaining control over site sequencing and interfaces.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, driving a proactive and preventative site safety culture.
Liaise closely with project management, clients, consultants and facilities teams to ensure clear communication and uninterrupted delivery.
Monitor progress against programme, identifying risks or delays early and implementing corrective actions as required.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspections, permits, method statements and quality documentation.
Manage site logistics and access within live or occupied environments, minimising disruption to operations and stakeholders.
Support inspections, commissioning activities and handover processes, ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar role within a main contractor, specialist contractor or facilities-led environment.
Experience delivering works in live, occupied or operational settings such as commercial buildings, healthcare, residential or large-scale refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management and site coordination.
Demonstrated ability to enforce safety, quality and programme requirements consistently on site.
Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Trade background or qualification in construction, civil engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Safe Pass (essential) and relevant Health & Safety training such as SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent (desirable).
Strong working knowledge of Irish construction standards, regulations and site practices.
Experience working to Sisk or Tier 1 contractor governance standards would be advantageous.
