The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Supplier Enablement & Subcontractor Lifecycle Specialist
to manage two critical functions within the
SPVM team under the Vendor Management function
:
Supplier Enablement in SAP Ariba
– ensuring vendors are properly onboarded and enabled in the procurement system.
Subcontractor Lifecycle Management
– owning the end-to-end process for subcontractors, from submission through onboarding and offboarding, while maintaining accurate data and driving process improvements.
This role acts as a strategic liaison between Procurement, HR, IT, and external suppliers to ensure a seamless and compliant end-to-end source-to-pay and external workforce management experience.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, agility, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead supplier onboarding, registration, and enablement activities through SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) and Ariba Network.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure catalog enablement, transactional connectivity, and compliance with company procurement policies.
Manage supplier communications, troubleshooting, and support during integration and testing.
Monitor supplier enablement KPIs such as adoption rate, PO/Invoice automation rate, and catalog completeness.
Work closely with internal Procurement and IT teams to configure and maintain Ariba supplier-related workflows and data governance.
Ensure all supplier master data, certifications, and compliance documents are accurate and up to date.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports as needed.
Own the subcontractor process for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), including onboarding, offboarding, and updates.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, Contingent Labor, and IT throughout the subcontractor lifecycle.
Maintain accurate subcontractor records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Enhance and manage the Power Apps-based subcontractor management tool.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and responsiveness.
Develop and maintain reporting tools and documentation.
Subcontractor Lifecycle Management (MSP)
Process Improvement & Governance
Drive continuous improvement in supplier enablement and subcontractor management through automation, analytics, and standardization.
Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to supplier onboarding and subcontractor management.
Provide training and documentation for internal teams and external suppliers.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in supplier enablement or procurement operations
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (SLP, Buying & Invoicing).
Experience in a global or multi-country implementation or operational environment preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of SAP Ariba Supplier Network, catalog management, and subcontractor lifecycle processes.
Familiarity with integrations between Ariba, Fieldglass, and SAP S/4HANA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Apps (PowerBI, Power Automate, etc.), and data analysis.
