Senior Occupational TherapistMedforce are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist for an Adult Disability Service within Community Healthcare Organisation (CHO), supporting adults with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. The service delivers interdisciplinary, person-centred care that promotes independence, inclusion, and quality of life for service users in community and residential settings. This role is based in NavanResponsibilities of Senior Occupational TherapistProvide specialist Occupational Therapy services for adults across a spectrum of disability needs, with a focus on functional performance, independent living, and adaptive strategies.Undertake environmental assessments and recommend assistive technologies or adaptations to promote safe community living.Lead on complex clinical cases and contribute to the care planning process within an interdisciplinary team.Provide supervision and support to junior occupational therapy staff, students, and therapy assistants as required.Collaborate with family members, carers, residential staff, and community services to implement holistic, goal-driven interventions.Contribute to service development, including clinical audits, quality improvement, and policy implementation.Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with HSE and CORU standards.Requirements of Senior Occupational TherapistMin Level 8 qualification in Occupational Therapy approved by CORU.CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, including relevant experience in disability services.Evidence of clinical expertise in working with adults with physical, sensory, and/or intellectual disabilities.Excellent communication, teamwork, and caseload management skills.Access to own transport and full, clean driving licence (essential for community visitTo apply please click below or contact
