Due to continued growth, Kent Stainless are seeking an experienced Incoming & Dispatch Stores Operative to work in our Stores and Warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods, maintaining stock integrity and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to;
Incoming Goods
* Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
Dispatch & Outgoing Goods
* Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch according to orders
* Ensure correct documentation is completed (dispatch notes, delivery paperwork)
* Load vehicles safely and securely
* Meet dispatch deadlines and customer requirements
Stock Control & Housekeeping
* Assist with stock counts and cycle checks
* Maintain tidy, safe, and organised storage areas
* Rotate stock where required (FIFO)
* Support inventory accuracy and traceability
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
* Use manual handling techniques correctly
* Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g. pallet trucks, forklifts if trained)
* Comply with company policies and quality standards
* Inspect goods for damage, quantity, and quality issues
* Accurately record receipts in the stock control system
* Label, store, and organise stock in designated locations
* Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
