The Job
Our client based in Leixlip Kildare, is looking to hire a team of General Operatives on an initial 11 month contract with a view of permanency. This role is Monday - Friday 6.30am-3pm, €14 per hour & €4,000k bonus (€1,000k each quarter). Any experience working in a technical/manufacturing environment is ideal for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues when needed.
2. Perform manual repairs when necessary to keep equipment running smoothly.
3. Help with the installation and movement of equipment as required.
4. Receive goods, ensuring accurate counting, checking, and organizing of stock.
5. Pick and pack customer orders, ensuring timely delivery.
6. Deliver items to the appropriate locations as needed.
7. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
8. Use various computer systems to track and manage tasks.
Skills and Experience:
9. Strong technical skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
10. Previous experience working as an operator in a technical/manufacturing/production environment.
11. Keen attention to detail and precision in work.
12. Ability to solve problems efficiently.
13. Flexible, reliable, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
14. Comfortable with using software systems.
15. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
