We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist who is passionate about utilizing advanced data science methodologies to improve decision-making speed and quality.
As part of our Cloud Data Technologies team, you will lead complex data science projects and develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to produce actionable insights from data.
Some of the exciting projects you can work on include:
• ML-driven bot traffic detection
• Building customer profiles
• A/B testing methodology improvements, including Interleaving tests, sequential testing, and Bayesian methods
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead complex data science projects and model development
2. Conduct advanced SQL for big data query optimization
3. Design and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data solution requirements
5. Stay updated on industry developments and suggest new technologies or methodologies
Requirements:
1. MS degree or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent required
2. 0-3 years of industrial experience in software or system analytics, ecommerce, or financial services preferred
3. Knowledge of statistical techniques, including regression, time series analysis, hypothesis testing, and combining disparate data sources
4. Expertise in applying predictive modeling techniques, statistics, and information retrieval methods to real-world data
5. Hands-on experience with SQL/Hive/Spark, data mining, and big data query optimization
6. Extensive experience with large data sets and data manipulation
7. Knowledge of R, Python, Hadoop preferred
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in deploying predictive models in production environments
9. Superior communications skills, both verbal and written
10. Attention to detail and data accuracy
