Commercial Contract Manager – Facilities Management
Excel Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading global Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced Facilities Management Commercial Contract Manager. Based in North Dublin, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major public-sector contract, shaping commercial strategy and driving supply chain performance across high value portfolio.
This newly created position offers significant autonomy and influence, enabling you to modernise and future-proof FM delivery while working on high-profile projects. You'll collaborate closely with the Contract Director and senior leadership to ensure best-value outcomes and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide commercial leadership across all contractual deliverables under the PPP agreement, ensuring compliance and value for money.
* Act as the commercial gatekeeper for multiple large-scale PPP contracts, managing risk registers and change control processes.
* Lead procurement planning and negotiations for lifecycle delivery, reactive works, and hard FM services.
* Drive supply chain efficiency through vendor management, performance monitoring, and contract amendments.
* Advise senior stakeholders on commercial risk, compliance, and financial strategy.
* Liaise with client-side partners and consortium members on all commercial matters, including reporting and audits.
* Develop long-term commercial strategies aligned with operational and financial targets.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified (NFQ Level 8) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Professional membership with SCSI, RICS, or equivalent.
* Proven commercial experience in PPP, FM, or construction environments, ideally with lifecycle planning exposure.
* Strong track record in procurement leadership, risk management, and supply chain optimisation.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in reporting systems, CAFM platforms, and data-driven commercial analysis.
* Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance frameworks.
