The role
Money Laundering Reporting Officer
Location: Dublin

Responsibilities
Advise Boards on regulatory matters and delegate performance for the entities covered by the MLRO.
Review all AML/KYC policies, procedures and job aids to ensure alignment with guidelines and legislation.
Conduct due diligence visits on all relevant entities/delegate types and report findings.
Complete and present risk assessments.
Complete and present board reports.
Serve as a key escalation point for AML-related issues from administrators, boards, investment managers, and distributors.
Act as the point of contact with local authorities and regulators.
Stay current and provide advisory knowledge regarding regulation on AIFM/UCITS business.
Collaborate with other teams within Carne to provide services and oversight for clients and third parties.
Support clients on the distribution of funds across all relevant jurisdictions.
Provide internal KPIs and review those received from administrators, distributors, and investment managers.
Develop relationships with key industry participants.
Demonstrate a culture of compliance excellence.
Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in an AML/KYC role within the funds industry.
University degree (or equivalent qualification) with, ideally, a compliance or legal qualification.
Comprehensive knowledge of AML/CTF legislation and regulation for Irish and/or Cayman domiciled funds and delegates.
Additional differentiating factors include exposure to other jurisdictions such as Luxembourg and experience performing KYC on assets (Know Your Asset).
