Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation that's committed to improving lives through groundbreaking medicines and therapies. Our client is now seeking a Senior Analyst - Global Trade Compliance (GTC) to join their dynamic team in Ireland, supporting strategic trade compliance initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.

This high-visibility role will see you working cross-functionally across R&D, global operations, and logistics, helping to ensure compliant, efficient, and optimised trade practices in a highly regulated and fast-moving sector.

This is a hybrid role with strong flexible working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Irish manufacturing sites and third-party Business Process Operations (BPO) to maintain full compliance with EU Customs regulations.

- Troubleshoot and support import/export operational activities, resolving issues that may impact supply chain timelines.

- Monitor and maintain Ireland's self-filing electronic import/export process, collaborating with internal tech teams for timely issue resolution.

- Engage with customs brokers, managing vendor relationships and performance.

- Apply your regulatory expertise to support the Irish supply chain and manufacturing network.

- Lead and contribute to trade compliance improvement projects, with a focus on cost savings and operational efficiency (e.g. Inward Processing).

- Stay ahead of changing trade regulations and customs legislation, translating updates into business-impact insights.

- Maintain and develop SOPs, local work instructions, and deliver compliance training to key stakeholders.

- Track and analyse compliance KPIs and trade metrics for management reporting.

- Support AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) and other regulatory trade programmes through internal audit and readiness assessments.

- Roll out global compliance models, policies, procedures, and training to ensure continued best practice across all entities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 5-7+ years of experience in a customs agency, logistics provider, pharmaceutical, or multinational organisation.

- In-depth knowledge of EU customs, Irish import/export regulations, and trade compliance practices.

- Hands-on experience with self-filing customs entries and working within an AEO environment.

- Proficient in SAP GTS or similar global trade compliance systems.

- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills - able to lead, train, and collaborate across teams.

- Highly effective under pressure, with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
