We're known for our strong client relationships, creative designs, and dedication to excellenceThe Head of Quality Control is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance and quality control systems across the lighting manufacturing production process. This role ensures that all lighting products meet internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, from incoming materials through final inspection and shipment.The successful candidate will work cross functionally with Operations and Production departments to lead and drive the organization's lean transformation and quality initiatives to maximize value, reduce waste, and ensure consistent, high-quality production of lighting products.Key Responsibilities:Quality Management & StrategyDevelop and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) for lighting productsDefine quality standards, inspection criteria, and testing protocols for luminaires, components, and assembliesEstablish quality objectives aligned with production, cost, and customer satisfaction goalsProduction Quality ControlOversee in-process and final inspections of lighting products (LED fixtures, drivers, optics, housings, wiring, etc.)Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and bills of materialsImplement statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement initiativesCompliance & CertificationEnsure compliance with relevant standards and certificationsPrepare for and lead internal and external quality auditsMaintain accurate quality documentation and traceability recordsSupplier & Incoming QualityApprove and monitor supplier quality performanceConduct supplier audits and manage corrective actionsOversee incoming material inspections and vendor quality agreementsQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related fieldExperience5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing3+ years in a leadership or managerial roleExperience in lighting, LED, electronics, or electrical manufacturing strongly preferredJob Type: PermanentPay: Up to €60,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
