THE ROLE: The Service Engineer will be responsible for: Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and related machinery. Performing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure reliability and minimise downtime. Providing customer-focused technical support across client sites. Working both independently and as part of a wider service team, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance. THE PERSON: Our client is seeking candidates who: Hold a mechanical qualification such as plant fitter, motor mechanic, HGV mechanic, or a relevant mechanical degree. Have experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of mechanical or industrial equipment (advantageous but not essential). Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Are customer-focused, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and within a team. Have experience working with large machinery, heavy plant, or material handling systems (preferred).
