Senior Consultant Cyber Security Governance – KPMG Ireland
Location: Dublin 1, part of our hybrid working model. Grade: Senior Consultant. Contract type: Permanent.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver cybersecurity assessment and consulting engagements.
* Share knowledge with team members and participate in a collaborative working environment.
* Be a technical specialist with flexibility to work across functional and technical areas.
* Perform security/gap analysis reviews in line with leading industry standards.
* Participate in projects related to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, etc.
* Conduct policies/procedures and security architecture review and design in line with leading practices.
* Prepare scopes of work at the start of engagements, produce formal reports at the end, and present findings to clients.
* Contribute to team knowledge and development of new service offerings.
* Identify opportunities and support winning new business through proposals and networking.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in cyber security risk or maturity assessments, framework design or operation, risk management and reporting.
* Good working knowledge of the changing cyber security and regulatory landscape.
* 3rd level qualification (preferably Computer Science or related) or compensating industry experience.
* At least 4+ years of relevant IT or Cyber Security experience.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with a strong focus on quality.
* Excellent report writing, presentation and client interaction skills.
* One of the following or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, Security+). An information security certification (OSCE/GPEN/OSWP/GIAC GCIH or Ethical Hacking) is a plus.
