Job Description:
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads through targeted research, strategic outreach, and networking.
* Collaborate with the Department Director and Marketing team to design and implement strategies that achieve sales targets.
* Utilize CRM systems to monitor sales activities, manage the pipeline, and report on key performance indicators.
* Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and contract renewals to clients.
* Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are competitive, comprehensive, and aligned with company goals.
* Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes or issues that arise.
* Conduct ongoing market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and market dynamics.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and build relationships.
* Oversee account performance in collaboration with internal teams, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
* Develop and nurture strong client relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their business needs.
* Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for clients.
* Hold regular client meetings to review account status, explore new opportunities, and ensure satisfaction with services.
* Work closely with departments such as Customer Support and Operations to guarantee seamless service delivery.
* Provide strategic feedback to Department Directors based on client insights and evolving market demands.
What You Bring
* A bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong experience in a business development role.
* Prior experience in the laboratory services sector is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with public procurement processes and tender writing is a strong advantage.
