Key Leadership Role: Head of Treasury Operations
This leadership position is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and managing treasury operations on a global level. The successful candidate will lead a high-performance team, developing their skills and expertise to achieve business objectives.
The Head of Treasury Operations will be a key member of the EMEA Finance Leadership Team, responsible for representing treasury interests and driving engagement across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a dynamic treasury team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with other functions.
* Represent treasury interests as a member of the EMEA Finance Leadership Team, driving engagement and alignment with business objectives.
* Manage cash management processes, positioning, intercompany financing, and liquidity management in a continuous improvement environment.
* Oversee EMEA bank account structure, fee structure, and operational functionality to support ongoing banking needs.
* Manage EMEA loan portfolio, working with stakeholders to identify financing needs, reporting, documentation requirements, and tax planning considerations.
* Develop and implement KPIs, cash management, and forecasting analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and mitigate risks.
* In coordination with regional managers, develop and manage global treasury systems, including bank system rationalization, connectivity, and fraud analytics.
* Collaborate with banking partners, SWIFT bureau, businesses, and IT resources to manage development of SWIFT, bank connectivity, and compliance controls.
* Establish and maintain treasury cash management policies and procedures, ensuring a strong control environment.
* Develop strategies and plans to enhance treasury functional activities through systems and processes that result in enhanced internal controls and productivity.
* Provide guidance and support on treasury operational matters to other functions and businesses.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as a financial executive within a global corporation.
* Significant international experience in finance-related issues.
* Proven track record of building trust and operating effectively in a dynamic organization.
* Background in Treasury, Economics, or Accounting with an emphasis on leadership and decision-making.
* Results-oriented leader with demonstrated ability to understand the business and complex issues in a global treasury organization.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with influencing abilities and capacity to build internal and external alliances.
* Approachable, influential, and capable of building trust and confidence quickly through consensus building.
* Strong attention to detail, ability to see the overall picture, and practical numerical skills.
