OBJECTIVES OF POSITION: To ensure overall optimal line performance both on existing and developing product lines linked to customer requirements and business performance.RESPONSIBILITIES: Introduction of new products in a high-volume production environmentProcess improvement and optimisation by applying Lean Manufacturing conceptsYield improvement of existing productsECO ImplementationControl of all customer documentation, including BOM, AML and component drawingsLine layout and optimisationControl of all assembly documentation for a product rangeTechnical point of contact for customer issuesResponsible for generation of work instructions.Generation of reports required by both Management and customersMonitoring and improvement of product measurement metricsQuality:Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirementsHealth & Safety:Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.MEASUREMENTS: Measurements will be assessed against an agreed set of MBO's as detailed in the annual performance review process.PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL: NFQ Level 8 Degree in an Engineering disciplineMinimum of 2/3 years experience in a high volume electronic manufacturing /similar environment.Flexibility to TravelAbility to effectively present information to customers and internal personnel at all levels.DESIRABLE: Good communication and influencing skills
