Location: Dundalk
What you’ll do
* Provide generalist Human Resources support day-to-day across the business, in line with company policies and procedures.
* Manage recruitment for DL roles and support with IDL roles, including coordinating interviews, reference checks, contract preparation and paperwork, and working with managers throughout the process.
* Ensure all company documentation is up to date and in line with HR best practices; maintain employee files.
* Facilitate onboarding, induction programmes and offboarding processes.
* Support the payroll function by ensuring timesheets, reports and notifications are delivered on time and updated on the T&A system.
* Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers on HR/ER matters including discipline, grievance, absence management, performance management, sickness absence and policies.
* Manage ER processes – investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, etc., in line with employment legislation and best practice.
* Ensure HR system data (Workday) is kept up to date and accurate.
* Stay up to date with employment legislation and assist in implementing changes through HR policies and procedures.
* Generate and develop standard and ad hoc reports for management and stakeholders (e.g., headcount and absence reports).
* Assist with Union / Industrial Relations matters as required.
* Provide support and lead on HR projects, initiatives and special events as required.
* Assist with administration related to employee benefits.
* Manage and coordinate incoming queries via the centralized HR inbox.
* Conduct training sessions on key HR topics.
* Undertake other duties within the HR function as reasonably assigned.
Experience we’re looking for
* 3rd level degree ideally in HR, Psychology or business/commerce.
* 2-3 years’ experience in an HR-related role (e.g., HR Admin, HR Assistant, HR Generalist).
* Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Excel), TMS system, DocuSign and HRIS.
* Working knowledge of Irish Employment Law and Practice.
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels.
* Ability to identify, communicate and report quickly on critical issues.
* Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
* Confident decision-maker; maintains confidentiality and discretion.
* Full driving license and own transport; travel between sites required.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU).
Advantageous
* Working knowledge of Workday.
* Experience in a high-volume regulated manufacturing environment.
* Some payroll experience.
