Overview
O’Reilly Consulting Group is working exclusively with BH Consulting to find a high performing Sales Account Manager. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role aims to acquire new business opportunities and develop existing client accounts to drive BH Consulting’s revenue growth and strategic account expansion. The success of the Sales Account Manager contributes to the achievement of overall company sales targets.
Responsibilities
* New Business: Proactively prospect for new business and respond to inbound sales leads; develop new revenue opportunities. Build and manage onboarding of new clients in the CRM.
* Prepare proposals and quotations and manage onboarding of new clients on the CRM.
* Work with the Chief Commercial Officer to continuously develop and maintain a targeted new business sales plan within targeted markets.
* Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer on business development, mapping customer requirements to BH Consulting’s services.
* Create and maintain a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities to help achieve sales targets; maintain an accurate pipeline in the CRM (HubSpot).
* Account Management: Retain and grow existing customers, proactively seek new opportunities, address competitive threats, and promote and upsell services to increase share and revenue for each account.
* Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with key decision makers of existing and new clients.
* Act as a trusted advisor, understand clients’ business challenges, and suggest upgrades or additional services to meet requirements.
* Manage long-term client relationships, including renegotiation of contracts, invoicing terms, packaged offerings, and preferred rates.
* Initiate account management meetings and plan touchpoints based on account size and potential.
* Achieve sales plan targets to contribute to BH Consulting’s annual revenue goals.
* Ensure seamless handover to delivery teams for client and project success.
* Collaborate with Operations Supervisor to resolve customer issues and develop strategies toward a successful outcome.
Experience
Ideally at least 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably selling IT Services or Professional Services. Experience with international clients in markets outside of Ireland (e.g., the UK) is a plus. The candidate should have excellent English, strong computer skills, and be comfortable communicating with senior IT, compliance, and management roles.
