Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in County Louth are presently recruiting a Draughtsperson with strong SolidWorks skills to their Design team. You will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for high-quality engineered products to customers across a range of industries and will support manufacturing, production, and project delivery departments within the business. This is a permanent, full-time position Key Responsibilities Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs (Bills of Materials) Support the design and development of new and existing products Work closely with engineers, production teams, and project managers to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable Revise and update drawings in line with design changes and client requirements Ensure all drawings and documentation are completed accurately and in line with company standards Assist with prototype development and product improvement initiatives Maintain drawing records and engineering documentation Requirements 1+ years experience as a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician, or similar design role within a manufacturing environment Proficiency in SolidWorks, is essential Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical assemblies, producing detailed fabrication/manufacturing drawings Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Engineering Technology, or related discipline is essential.
