Electrical Quantity Surveyor We are currently recruiting an Electrical Quantity Surveyor for a leading engineering services company. The role will be based in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide support to the Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with contract obligations and provide ongoing advice and monitoring to the construction team. Identify potential commercial risks promptly and report them to management. The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will need to prepare monthly progress applications, accurately including remeasures, site variations, day-works and claims. Support operational procurement activities and contract administration in collaboration with the Procurement Department. Manage subcontractor accounts from award through interim valuations, variations and final accounts. Monitor and forecast project turnover and cash flow to support financial control. Oversee the commercial management of projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Analyse and report on business and project trends to inform decision-making. Review all incoming correspondence from employers, design teams and subcontractors to identify critical contractual issues and initiate appropriate responses. Advise and ensure the construction team adheres to all contractual requirements through continuous monitoring. Requirements: Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is essential. The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will need 6+ years post-qualification experience, with proven expertise in an Electrical Quantity Surveying role. Previous experience with an M&E contractor is preferred but not essential. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-functional teams. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with industry-standard software. Outstanding presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
