As we continue to expand, we are committed to delivering excellence and innovation while fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.Position DescriptionThe Materials Handler and Forklift Driver assists the Logistics and Materials Controller who manages the Logistics, positioning and movement of Modular Units in the manufacturing process in line with the agreed current and future plans. This team receive Materials and Goods from suppliers, check the goods for damage before accepting. They track the movement of goods and are responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods.Responsibilities Will IncludeGoods InwardsReceive raw materials into Suretank following the procedures laid out in the SOP.Book inventory onto the companies computerised stock management system,Record and locate these items in the appropriate locations.KittingEnsure raw materials are issued in SAP in accordance with the company's SOPEnsure that all stock is accurately accounted for in the process and recorded on SAP.Stock KeepingAssist in cycle counts and stock taking when required to ensure accurate stock quantities. This may also include working through shut-down periods.Assist in recording stock to maintain accurate records of stock on SAP.ForkliftLoad and unload finished products and raw materials safely and in line with company safety procedures.Supply materials and move products to various work centres in the plant.Move units through the fabrication process, mostly large units with remote controls skates and loading trollies with post lifter.General DutiesThe role is not strictly limited to those outlined above, as the role of Materials Handler and Forklift Driver and ad hoc duties may be required dependent on project demand.Housekeeping DutiesEnsure stores area/ yard and factory are all kept clean and tidy.All stock and products stored in their correct locations.Scrap bins kept tidied and emptied.Candidate SkillsFull clean driving licence.Current forklift licence or willingness to be trained on a forklift.Computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Email is required.Experience on SAP Business One desirable but not essential.Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic.Ability to work methodically and quicklySelf-motivated, trustworthy and a good communicator.Be prepared to work shifts if the need requires.Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.Company BenefitsShift allowance (where applicable when working shifts)Free ParkingEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEmployee Referral ProgrammeCareer development opportunitiesApply Now
