Key Account Manager
A leading Medical Supplies company in Meath is seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients.
Job Description
The purpose of this role is to sell products and services to customers, including individuals, businesses, and government organisations.
Responsibilities:
* Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competitors.
* Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
* Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
* Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
* Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
* Cold calling potential customers, establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly.
* Acknowledge and follow up within 24 hours on sales enquiries and send out information to the customer.
* Following up on leads generated by other departments.
* Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by Sales Director.
* Entering all required data for sales onto the company system - updating Net Suite and inputting information on customers.
* Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
* Responding to incoming email, fax and phone enquiries within 24 hours.
* Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
* Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy and ultimately the customer being satisfied with Medguard customer service.
Requirements
* Sales background and experience.
* Ability to conduct 25+ calls daily.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of industry trends and market activities.
What We Offer
* Salary: €40,000 + €5,000 bonus.
