Senior Staff Engineer Manufacturing
This is a technical leadership role within Stryker’s advanced Hip Stem and Acetabular Cup manufacturing process. The successful candidate will work across automated manufacturing, robotics, thermal coatings, automated inspection and process improvement, driving technical excellence in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Develop a detailed understanding of best practice in product/process performance within the medical devices industry.
Develop a support network of key divisional, corporate leaders, academic and supplier partners to enhance product manufacture and quality.
Drive high levels of employee engagement through a highly effective support structure implemented for all engineers.
Develop technical solutions to complex problems where analysis requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
Develop system‑level design strategy.
Lead design, development, testing & refinement of system, sub‑system and component.
Recommend changes in procedures.
Serve as technical advisor to engineering personnel.
Qualifications
Required: Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Required: 6+ years manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Desired: Advanced degree (Master’s, Black Belt or PhD).
Desired: Experience in thermal spray coatings or related deposition technologies or materials science.
Desired: Excellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents.

Senior Engineer, Manufacturing
Contract: 23 Month Contract. On‑site position in Tullagreen, Carrigtwohill. This role provides advanced technical and engineering support to a manufacturing area or project.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Application of a prioritised approach in Value‑Centred Engineering towards quality, service and cost.
Work with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives.
Assist in developing a world‑class manufacturing group proficient in process improvement and Six‑Sigma.
Provide technical leadership on all product and process issues.
Line performance monitoring and execution of structured event plans.
Develop and implement SOPs and process work instructions compliant with GMP.
Lead technical improvements under the Continuous Improvement Program.
Transfer and implement processes from development or other facilities.

What You Will Need
Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
2+ years manufacturing experience.
Experience in CNC machining, Process Validation, Coating or Clean and Pack (preferred).

Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Value Stream
Location: Model Farm Road, Cork. Permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities
Own and sustain manufacturing processes within value streams for neurovascular products, ensuring quality, stability and regulatory compliance.
Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Implement continuous improvement (CI) and cost‑reduction projects focused on OEE, yield and scrap reduction.
Execute process and equipment changes under the quality system, including documentation, risk assessment, validation and change control.
Support ongoing process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain a validated state.
Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams.
Lead data collection, analysis and reporting on key performance metrics.
Support audits, CAPA closure and documentation updates.
Train and mentor technicians and operators.
Collaborate across sites to share best practices.

Strategic Manufacturing Op’s Lead Engineer
Business Unit: Plant Network (Manufacturing). Location: Stryker Anngrove, Cork. Hybrid role.
Role Summary
This role shapes the company’s manufacturing footprint by providing financial insight and analysis to guide strategic network decisions. It focuses on evaluating cost, capacity and efficiency impacts of network changes, ensuring decisions align with operational excellence and long‑term strategy.
What You Will Do
Key member of the Plant Network team.
Formulate and implement strategic plans to drive the overarching strategic plan.
Partner across functions to deliver margin expansion and participate in cross‑functional business forums.
Direct teams to improve COGS and supply‑chain agility of products.
Evaluate and develop financial models for plant expansions, consolidations, transfers, or closures.
Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
Collaborate with Product Transfer, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, HR and Strategy teams.
