Health and Safety Professional
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to contribute to the coordination of health and safety across our organisation. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing policies to reduce potential risks.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a minimum of 2 years' experience ideally within the civils construction sector. They will be NEBOSH certified and possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver health and safety contracts and policies
* Ensure regular inspections of projects are undertaken in accordance with agreements and report any action points
* Organise daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period
* Complete inspection reports to a high standard and upload them to relevant stakeholders
* Work closely with Contracts Managers and Project Managers
* Recommend prioritised actions for safety improvements
* Facilitate continuous improvement in all aspects of the sites as required
Requirements:
* Health and safety background within the civils construction sector
* 2-3+ years' experience in a similar role
* Experience in deep excavations
* NEBOSH certification
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly and easily with diverse stakeholders
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
* Full driving licence
