Dublin Bus is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Executive Fleet Engineer to lead key initiatives across fleet introduction, alternative fuels, vehicle technology, and fleet strategy. Key responsibilities:
Leading the introduction and transition of new fleet vehiclesManaging fleet planning, cascade programmes, disposals, and BusConnects fleet integrationActing as the primary liaison with the NTA and vehicle manufacturersSupporting the adoption of alternative fuels including electric, hydrogen, and biofuelsManaging fleet and premises cleaning contracts and budgetsProviding fleet analysis, forecasts, governance reporting, and technical recommendationsMonitoring developments in vehicle technology, sustainability, safety, and compliance
Must haves:
Relevant third‑level qualificationStrong engineering, fleet, or technical project experienceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsKnowledge of emerging vehicle technologies and sustainability initiativesExperience with technical reporting and Microsoft Office applicationsFull driving licence and flexibility for occasional international travel
Bus fleet experience is desirable but not essential.
