About the Team
The 8th Note Press team aims to empower authors and bring great books to a worldwide audience. We use not only our data strength but also our promotional advantages to help writers find their target readers and make their books viral both online and offline.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure all book content is optimized for ingestion and distribution.
2. Manage content projects and internal systems to ensure timely execution of publishing milestones, trafficking of assets, and fulfillment of payment commitments.
3. Act as the subject matter expert for book content QA and publishing processes, identifying and troubleshooting issues with content providers and internal product team.
4. Develop and evangelize playbook for providers to optimize content for technical delivery and success with consumers.
5. Provide partner content education training and support.
6. Collaborate with product and technical support teams in provider issue diagnosis and resolution.
7. Measure, analyze, and report on Operation Team efforts, providing insights to cross-functional teams.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with global Content Strategy, Editorial, Product, and Business Development teams to ensure alignment of processes and improvements across all functions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 3+ years of operations and/or project management experience in book publishing industry.
2. In-depth technical understanding of standard file formats and technical specifications for digital media content and its ingestion & distribution.
3. Passion for organization, details, systems, spreadsheets, and project management software.
4. Strong communication skills, cross functional collaboration skills, and strategic account relationship management skills.
