Job Description: Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Overview A Growing Plant hire & Civil Engineering Contractor in Meath is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to price & win work while successfully delivering projects on time & within budget. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and savings. Manage tendering processes including preparing and issuing tender documents. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor project progress and performance against budgets and timelines. Provide accurate measurement and valuation of work completed for payment purposes. Advise on procurement strategy and risk management. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success. Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders. Stay updated with building regulations and industry best practices. Criteria Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Experience with cost estimating software and project management tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
