Overview
Our client is a highly specialised Irish company with operations across Europe. Due to continued growth, the Irish HQ is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will support in maintaining accurate financial records, drafting reports and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks while gaining practical experience and support in achieving their professional accounting qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
* Support with accounts consolidation, management of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
* Maintain and update financial records within accounting systems
* Assist in both internal and external audit processes
* Liaise with other departments to gather and verify financial data
* Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure all group reporting deadlines are achieved
Key Skills
* Working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, or CIMA)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Highly organised and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A willingness to learn and develop professionally
