Therapeutic Care Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of therapeutic care professionals who deliver holistic, trauma-informed care to young people aged 13-17 years. The role involves working with children and young people, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, and health and safety.
Job Description:
* Develop and implement Care and Placement Plans, ensuring accurate recording of same.
* Promote the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the service.
* Promote physical, emotional, social, and religious welfare of each young person in care.
* Encourage attendance at school, training centers, medical and clinical appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.
* Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application necessary).
* Be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence of application necessary).
